Al Newell

Al Newell is founder of Newell & Associates, a volunteer ministry development consulting company. Over 20 years, Al has specialized in starting and developing volunteer ministries in churches and Christian organizations. Al was the founder and director of Compassion International's National Volunteer Network, which brings millions of dollars to Compassion each year. A graduate and former adjunct professor of Denver Seminary, Al has served as Executive Pastor and Director of Ministries implementing the High Impact in local churches. His clientele ranges from local and large churches to worldwide Christian organizations such as Operation Christmas Child and OMF.

Dina Parris

Dina Parris, the former founder and National Director of Voice of the Martyr's National Voice Volunteer Network, joined the Newell & Associates staff in 2003 as a volunteer ministry development consultant. A graduate of Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Dina developed the Voice of the Martyrs headquarters' volunteer ministry before starting the national advocate network to speak on behalf of the persecuted church. Dina grew up on the mission field in Peru and today resides in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, with Ryan her husband Ryan who is a professor at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, and their children Zachary & Adryana. Her clients have included Food for the Hungry and Mission Aviation Fellowship.

Becky Coleman

Becky Coleman joined the Newell and Associates team in April, 2007 as a volunteer ministry consultant. Prior to joining the Newell and Associates team, Becky served on staff with Open Door Ministries in Denver, Colorado where she started and developed a before and after school program for kids in one of Denver's most challenging inner-city areas. In Addition, Becky served as S.A.Y. Yes director and developed an effective volunteer tutoring ministry. She also served as a primary team member to develop the S.A.Y. Yes volunteer training curriculum which is used nationally. Becky, a graduate of Colorado Christian University, is married to Jared, who is an individual consultant at TIAA CREF in Charlotte where they reside.
